Mission
We are committed to reaching the lost, uplifting believers, and equipping the saints for a life of faith and service. By proclaiming the life-changing message of the Gospel, nurturing spiritual growth, and empowering individuals with the tools to fulfill their calling, we seek to glorify God and further His Kingdom.
Senior Pastor
Peter Wyatt Nicholls was born on September 14, 1959, to Daphne and Cameron (John) Nicholls in Barbados, West Indies. Surrounded by a community of faith and the godly influence of his parents, Peter accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Savior at an early age. As the second-to-last of eight children, he quickly sensed a call to ministry, earning both admiration and occasional frustration from his siblings. Undeterred, he pursued his spiritual path.
During high school, Peter collaborated with a group of like-minded young men led by fellow student Kevin Harris, which led to a powerful encounter with the Holy Spirit. He experienced an infilling of the Spirit, evidenced by speaking in tongues, a moment he credits with igniting the anointing of God in his life. This experience deepened his faith, hope, and passion for kingdom work. The group's zeal impacted not only their peers but also their families, as they devoted themselves to spreading the Gospel. Even as a teenager, Peter traveled throughout the Eastern Caribbean, committed to reaching the lost, no matter the cost.
In 1978, Peter transitioned into full-time evangelism and became highly sought after throughout Barbados and the Caribbean. His desire to deepen his biblical understanding led him to the United States in 1987, where he attended Zion Bible College in Rhode Island, graduating in 1989. He furthered his studies at Nyack College in New York, New York.
In 1990, Peter was ordained by Rev. Dr. Isaac Soleyn and elevated to associate minister at Evangel Temple, where he worked closely with the youth department and taught at Evangel Temple Bible Institute.
In 1992, he married Jo-Anne Soleyn, and together they were blessed with two children: Kristen Angela, born in 1997, and Kyle Peter, born in 2000. Sensing a shift toward pastoral ministry, Peter founded New Creation International Church in 1997, where he continues to faithfully serve. His vision for missions has expanded over the years, as he leads the congregation in teaching, mentoring, and equipping workers for the harvest fields.
1 Corinthians 1:9: "God, who has called you into fellowship with His Son Jesus Christ our Lord, is faithful.”
